Burnt Onion Gravy

Ingredients

  • 1 tbs oil
  • 1 lg onion sliced
  • 1 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tsp Spike
  • 1/4 tsp tarragon
  • 1/8 tsp sage
  • 1/4 tsp chervil
  • 1 dsh nutmeg

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oil in a large skillet. Add sliced onion and saute over medium high heat until onion begins to brown. Add water and seasonings. Bring to a boil and lower to medium-low heat. Cook until gravy is reduced to about 3/4 cup.
