Ingredients
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup hulled sesame seeds
- 2 T all-purpose flour
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/4 t ground pepper
- 1/4 t five-spice powder
- 12 large shrimp (aprox 1/2 lb), peeled and deveined
- 3/4 c vegi oil
- sesame noodles (see recipe)
Preparation
Step 1
Mix eggs with 1 T water and set aside. Combine sesame seeds, flour, salt pepper and spices in a bowl. Dip shrimp in egg mixture, then sesame-seed mixture then fry till golden brown (3 minutes on each side.)
Serve on a bed of sesame noodles.
