Ingredients
- 2 Cups Flour
- 1 Tbsp Ginger
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 2 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 3/4 Cup Shortening
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1/4 Cup Molasses
- One Small Bowl with 1/4 Cup Sugar
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 F. Combine first five ingredients and mix well. Beat shortening and add 1 cup of sugar gradually. Beat in egg and molasses. Mix in flour gradually. Make balls from 1 tsp of dough and roll in sugar. Bake at 350 F for 10 minutes.
