Snickerdoodles

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 ts cream of tartar
  • 1 ts soda
  • 1/2 ts salt
  • 1 ts vanilla
  • 2 3/4 cup sifted flour

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter, sugar, add eggs, one at a time, vanilla. Add dry ingredients and mix just until combined.
Chill
Roll into 1 inch balls, then roll balls into 2 TS sugar and 1 ts cinnamon.
Bake 2 inches apart on ungreased sheets until lightly browned at 400 for 10 to 12 minutes.
