- 2 cups sifted.confectioners' sugar
- 1/4 cup soft sweet butter
- 1 teaspoon cream, or more if needed
- dash of salt
- finely grated rind of 1 lemon
- juice of l lemon
- Makes 1 cup

Step 1
Blend well sifted confectioners' sugar and butter.
Beat in 1 teaspoon cream, dash of salt, finely grated lemon rind and juice.
Thin or thicken icing by adding more sugar or more cream.
