Slow Cooker Chickpea and Lentil Chili

Richard made this and it is really nice. It has quite a sweet flavour an is great with rice.

Ingredients
- 1 400g tin chickpeas in water, drained
- 1 large peeled and chopped sweet potato (1/2 in. cubes)
- 1 cup uncooked red lentils
- 1 cup chopped red onion
- 5 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 2 1/2 cups vegetable stock
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 400g tin chopped tomatoes

Step 1
Place all ingredients in slow cooker. Mix well. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
