Club Cracker Cookies

These are a Holiday Favorite but there is no reason you can't make them year round! So easy and so delicious! Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 1 sleeve Club Crackers
- 12 oz (+/-) of any kind of morsel you like (SemiSweet Choc/ White Choc/ Peanut Butter/ or even Butterscotch)
- 1 Cup Butter (2 sticks)
- 1/2 Cup Sugar
- Sliced Almonds or Chopped Walnuts (Optional)

Preparation
Step 1
Pre-heat oven to 350º
Line cookie tray with tin foil
Lay crackers on tray and fit to ends
Melt butter & sugar together (on stove or 2 minutes in microwave)- Stir
Spread / Pour over crackers
Bake at 350º for 12 – 15 minutes (do not over cook)- TURN OVEN OFF
Remove from oven and sprinkle morsels to cover
Spread with back of spoon or spatula until melted- put back in oven for 1-2 more minutes and remove (do not over cook) ***Butterscotch will not melt all the way.
Sprinkle w/ nuts or almonds to taste. (optional)
Cool in refrigerator 8 hours or overnight. *These keep well in a freezer also.
Once hardened break into pieces and store in an airtight container
