
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup sifted flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup flour
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
- 1 box dried apricots (2/3 cup)
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- Powder sugar

Preparation
Step 1
1 Mix butter, sugar and flour together until crumbly. Pack in 8 x 8 pan. Bake 20 - 25 minutes at 350°.
2 Rinse apricots, cover with water and boil 10-15 minutes. Drain, cool and chop.
3 Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Gradually beat brown sugar into eggs. Add flour mixture, mixing well. Mix in vanilla, nuts and apricots. Spread in pan. Bake 20-30 minutes or until light brown. Cool in pan. Cut and roll in powdered sugar.
