Ingredients
- 10 cups chopped cucumbers
- 4 cups onions
- 5 Tbsp. salt
- 2 1/2 cups white vinegar
- 6 cups sugar
- 2 tsp. tumeric
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch (maybe more, depending on how thick you want it)
- 2 tsp. celery seed
- 4 sweet peppers
Preparation
Step 1
~Mix cucs, onions and salt. Let stand overnight
~Mix well, then drain
~Rinse in cold water, drain again
~Place in a large pot with remaining ingredients and boil
~Put in jars & bath for 30 minutes to seal
