Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 med onion, chopped
- 1/2 med green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 28oz can whole tomatoes, cut up (undrained)
- 1 6oz can tomato paste
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp basil leaves
- 1/2 tsp oregano leaves
- 1/2 of 1 lb pkg spaghetti, uncooked
- grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
Step 1
In Dutch oven, combine ground beef, onion, green pepper and garlic. Cook until beef is browned and green pepper is tender; drain, if desired. Stir in next seven ingredients. Bring to boil. Reduce heat; simmer 20 min, stirring occasionally.
Prepare spaghetti according to pkg directions; drain. Serve meat sauce over hot spaghetti.
If desired, prepare sauce in advance and refrigerate or freeze for future use.
