Ingredients
- 1 C warm water
- 1 TBLSP yeast
- 2 Tblsp soft butter
- 1 egg
- 3 and 1/4 C white flour
- 1/4 C sugar
- 1 Tsp salt
- Topping
- 3 TBLSP melted butter
- Garlic salt
- Italian Seasons
Preparation
Step 1
Combine all ingredients except toppings in stand mixer. Mix 5 min, add more flour if needed. It will be soft and sticky. Dough will not completely pull away from sides of bowl.
Turn dough out on floured surface and knead a few times, forming a ball.Cover and let rise until double.Roll dough on floured surface 12x 16 rectangle. Use pizza cutter and cut 16 strips.Pinch long sides together to form sticks. Place sticks seam side down on greased cookie sheet.Cover and let rise 30 min. Bake 350 15 to 18 min until golden brown.Brush with butter and sprinkle Italian seasons.
