Ingredients
- 1 (9 inch) deep dish pie crust
- 5 cups apples - peeled, cored and thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/3 cup white sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 6 tbsp butter
Preparation
Step 1
1.Preheat oven to 400 degrees
2.Combine brown and white sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon. Toss apples in sugar mixture. Pour mixture into a unbaked pie shell.
3.Mix 1/3 cup sugar,1 tsp cinnamon with flour; cut in butter until crumbly. Spoon mixture over apples.
4.Bake in preheated oven until apples are soft and top is lightly browned, about 40- 60 minutes.
