Ingredients

  • 1 pkg (15 oz.) Yellow Cake Mix
  • 1 can (15 oz.) can solid-pack pumpkin (I use Libby’s)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c water
  • 2 tsp. Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • 1/2 cup cinnamon chips (divided) (I used 1/2 of a package)
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans (divided)

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees, spray 9x13 pan with cooking spray
2. Combine cake mix, pumpkin, eggs, water, and pumpkin pie spice in bowl; beat 1-2 minutes until well blended. Stir in half of your pecans and cinnamon chips.
3. Pour batter into baking dish, smoothing the top with a spatula. Sprinkle top of the cake with remaining cinnamon chips and pecans.
4. Bake 25-30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean. Cool for at least 15 minutes before serving.

**Cinnamon chips are found with the chocolate chips in your grocery store. Reasor’s always has them in stock.
