Favorite Baked Beans

Ingredients

  • Bill says no barbecue get-together is complete without a pot of these all-time favorite beans
  • 3 slices bacon, cut in half crosswise
  • 2 16-ounee cans pork and beans
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup catsup
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • (1/2 cup)
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons prepared
  • mustard

Preparation

Step 1

In small skillet partially cook bacon; drain and set aside. In a mixing bowl stir together pork and beans, brown sugar, catsup, onion, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard.

Turn mixture into a 2-quart casserole. Lay the partially cooked bacon slices atop. Bake, uncov­ered, in a 350° oven about 2 hours or till of desired consistency. Serves 10.
