Ingredients
- 1/4 cup Pure Maple Syrup — do not use pancake syrup it is not the same
- 2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
- 2 Cloves Garlic, minced
- 1/8 Teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
- 1 Tablespoon grated Fresh Ginger
- 2 Green Onions sliced very thin
- 1 Lb. Salmon
Preparation
Step 1
Instructions:
1. Place Salmon Filets in shallow glass baking dish.
2. Mix Syrup, Soy Sauce, Garlic, Pepper & Ginger in small bowl blending well.
3. Pour Maple syrup blend over Salmon coating all pieces. Cover the dish, and marinate salmon in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Turning once.
To Bake Salmon:
4. Preheat Oven to 400 degrees.
5. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven, and bake Salmon uncovered 20 minutes, or until easily flaked with a fork. Garnish with the sliced Green Onions.
To Grill Salmon:
4. Follow the first three instructions.
5. When Salmon is finished marinating take Salmon out of dish. Put remaining marinade in small pan and heat for a few minutes to thicken to a sauce consistency,
Place Salmon on Med Hot grill for 2-4 minutes each side depending on thickness of fish. Baste the Salmon with sauce while grilling. When Salmon flakes easily it is done. Garnish with the sliced Green Onions.
