Ingredients
- 3 med tomatoes, peeled and quartered
- or one 14 oz can tomatoes, cut up
- 1 1/2 c water
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c diced celery
- 3 oz tomato paste
- 2 tbs fresh cilantro or parsley
- 2 tsp chicken bouillon granules
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp sugar
Preparation
Step 1
In a large saucepan combine all ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer about 20 minutes. Puree the soup. Garnish with cilantro/parsley if desired. Makes 4 cups.
