- 3 Cups granulated sugar
- 1 Cup Evaporated Milk
- 1/2 Cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3 Tbsp butter
- 2 Tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 Cup chopped walnuts

Preparation
Step 1
In a 3 quart saucepan, combine sugar, evaporated milk and cocoa powder, bring to a hard boil, then reduce heat to medium.
Continue cooking until it reaches the softball stage, 235 degrees F. 112 C.
Once the mixture has cooled to lukewarm 110 degree F. add the butter, vanilla and chopped walnuts.
Pour mixture into a buttered 8 inch square baking dish.
Cool:
Cut into 1 inch pieces.
