Sauteed Apples

Ingredients

  • 6 T. butter
  • 5 large Granny Smith apples, about 3 lls., cored & cut into 1/2" pcs.
  • 4 T light brown sugar
  • 2 T. Honey
  • 1/2 t. ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 t. cinnamon
  • 1/2 t. grated orange peel

Preparation

Step 1

Cook butter in large skillet over medium-high heat until beginning to brown.

Add apples and saute until tender, about 9 minutes.

Add all the remaining ingredients, stir to blend. Cool

Can be made 2 days ahead. Cover & chill
