Ingredients

  • saltines
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 12 oz pack of semi-sweet chocolate morsels
  • 1/2 cup pecan meal

Preparation

Step 1

Cover cookie sheet with aluminum foil
Line cookie sheet with saltine crackers
Melt 2 sticks margarine & 1/2 cup brown sugar on burner only until it begins to boil
Pour above mixture evenly over cracers
Bake for 7 minutes only - (it burns fast)
Spread 12 pz pack of semi-sweet cholcolate morsels over crackers immediately after taking them out of oven. Spread moresels evenly with spatula.
Top with 1/2 cup pecan meal
Put in freezer for 10-15 minutes until cool and hard.
Break into small pieces.
Do not store in refrigerator - it gets to sticky.
