Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- 2 pounds Round or chuck steak
- 1 can Italian Tomatoes -- (16 oz)
- 1 tablespoon Oregano
- 2 tablespoons Red wine or balsamic vinegar or red wine
- 1 envelope Lipton onion soup
- pepper,garlic powder and salt to taste

Preparation
Step 1
Put olive oil in the bottom of a heavy large skillet. Arrange cut up meat on bottom and cover with soup mix and tomatoes.
Add rest of ingredients and simmer covered 1 1/2 - 2 hours.
I usually serve with a tossed salad, bow tie pasta drizzled with olive oil, green beans, and a loaf of warm crispy bread.
