7-Up Sloppy Joes

Ingredients

• 1 T. butter
• 1/3 c. chopped onion
• 1 lb. ground beef
• 1 t. salt
• 1/8 t. pepper
• 2 T. flour
• 1 (7-oz.) bottle 7-Up
• 3/4 c. catsup
• 1 t. mustard
• 2 t. Worcestershire sauce

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter and saute onions. Add ground beef and cook until meat loses red color; drain. Mix salt, pepper and flour in bowl; slowly add 7-Up, stirring until smooth. Stir into meat along with catsup, mustard and Worcestershire sauce. Cover and cook for 10 minutes. Serve on a bun.
