Ingredients

  • 3 T olive oil
  • 3 potatoes (cut into bite sized pieces)
  • 2 sliced onions
  • 1 small head of green cabbage
  • shredded
  • 1 clove crushed garlic
  • 16 oz pkg frankfurters
  • 2 T grey poupon
  • 1 T cider vinegar
  • 2 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp freshly ground pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat. Add potatoes, onions stirring frequently till light brown. Stir in cabbage, mustard, vinegar, sugar and spices. I also add about 1/2 cup or more of water along with extra grey poupon to taste. Heat to boil and lower to simmer for about 15 minutes..till potatoes are tender. Add cut up franks and simmer for an additional 5 minutes, till heated through.
