Ingredients
- 1 lb of mild and or hot sausage
- 1 large onion
- 1 green and or red pepper
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 t garlic
- 1 t basil
- 28 oz can of tomato puree
- bow tie pasta
Preparation
Step 1
Remove casings; fry sausage; drain fat
add onion, pepper and saute for a few minutes. Be careful not to burn
add mixture, tomatoes and spices to broth
bring to a boil turn down heat, cover and simmer one hour. Add cooked pasta last 10 minutes.
