Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter or margerine softened
  • 1/2 cup icing sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup ground almonds or pecans

Preparation

Step 1

Oven to 325 degrees

In mixing bowl, cream butter, sugar and vanilla. Blend in flour, salt and nuts till dough holds together. Shape into 1" balls or logs etc. Place on ungreased baking sheets. Bake 15 to 20 min until set, but not brown. Cool slightly, then roll in powdered sugar. Cool completely, then roll again in powdered sugar.
