Pecan Rolls

Ingredients
- 1 envelope Fleischman's yeast
- 1 cup plus 5 tablespoons 1/2 cup warm water
- 7 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 3/4 cups plus 5 tablespoons margarine, divided
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 6 tablespoons Karo syrup
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- Approximately 1/2 pound pecan halves

Step 1
In a small bowl, combine yeast, 1 tablespoon sugarmand water. Stir until yeast and sugar are dissolved; set aside
Using the dough blade in a heavy-duty food processor, add fiour, 4 tablespoons sugar, salt and 5 tablespoons margarine, Pulsate 8 or 9 until mixture is well-blended
Beat eggs in 3/4 cup or fillingto topwith water. Add to yeast mixture and stir well.
With the food processor running, slowly and liquids to the dry ingredients. Blend until well mixed.
Empty contenys onto well-floured board and knead well to form a ball of dough. Place in a large, well-greased bowl and cover with towel. Set in the oven with just the light on for warmth and allow to rise for 2 hours
While dough is rising thoroughly grease two 9-by13-nch pans. To each pan add 1 cup brown sugar and 3 tablespoons Karo syrup. Melt 1 3/4 cups margarine and divide in between the pans, reserving about 1/8 cup to brush on the rolls.
Stir the mixture in the pan, smoothing it out on the bottom. Line the bottom of pans with pecans.
In a sauce dish., combine 1 cup sugar and 1 tablespoon cinnamon. Set aside
After dough has risen, divided into four equal parts. Remove one part, covering the remainder with a towel. Roll out dough, brush with melted butter, sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon and roll up. Dough rolls should be about 1 1/3 inches in diameter. Slice about 1/2 inch thick. Lay slices down flat in pan on top of pecans. Repeat process with 3 remaining balls of dough and finsh filling the pans. Cover each pan with a towel and place in an unheated oven with the light turned on for about an hour. Remove pans from oven, then remove towels. Preheat oven to 350F. and bake rollsfor 25 minutes. Remove from oven. Turn pan upside down on sheet of aluninum foil covering breadboard. Serve
