Ingredients
- cornmeal 2 C
- flour 2 C
- salt 1/2 tsp
- baking powder 2 TBsp
- eggs 2
- butter 1/2 C
- buttermilk 2 C
- water

Preparation
Step 1
In a bowl mix, dry ingredients.
In another bowl mix wet ingredients.
Add dry to wet gently just until incorporated.
Heat a cast iron skillet in the oven at 400.
Add butter or oil to coat the pan.
Return to the oven for 1 minute.
Pour the batter into the skillet and cook for 40-50 minutes.
