Lemom Pie Cake

Ingredients
- Crust mix:
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup marg.
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tbs vanilla
- 1 egg
- Filling
- bring to a boil
- 1 1/3 cups of sugar
- 1/4 tbs salt
- 1/2 corn starch
- 1 3/4 cups water
- add
- 4 eggs yolks
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 1 Tbs lemon peel
- 2 Tbs marg
- boil for 2 mins
- Merranquw
- beat 4 egg white
- add 1/4 tbs cream of tartar
- 1/2 cup sugar

Preparation
Step 1
Crust
mix butter and sugar. add flour, vanilla and egg. press into a 9x13 pan. bake at 350 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown.
Filling
bring to a boil sugar, salt, starch and water. gradually add egg yolks, lemon juice, peel and marg. boil 2 minutes. pour over cooled crust
Meran
beat egg whites to stiff peaks. add cewam of tartar and sugar. spread to 1/2 inch of edge. bake 350 20-25 minutes. refrigerate for an hour
