Scones by Rosie Dawson

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb flour
  • 2 ounces of butter
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp cream of tartar
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 4 tblsp of milk

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 425 degrees

1. Rub butter into flour, sift in baking soda, cream
of tartar, and salt
2. Mix stiffly with milk
3. Roll out 3 times on floured board
4. Bake for 5 - 7 minutes
