Pecan Shortbread

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 C flour
  • 3 T brown sugar
  • 2 T finely chopped pecans
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • melted chocolate

Preparation

Step 1

Combine flour and sugar inbowl. cut in butter. Stir in vanilla. Form into ball. Knead until smooth. Roll on lightly floured surface to 1/2 : thick. Cut using 1 1/2" cookie cutters. Place 1" apart on ungreased sheets.

Bake in 325F oven for 20-25 minutes or until bottom just starts to brown. Cool on racks. If desired dip one end of cooled cookie in chocolate or drizzle.
