Ingredients

  • 1 - package (20) of corn
  • tortillas.
  • 1 - can Cream of Chicken soup.
  • 3/4 - cup of milk.
  • 1 - medium chopped yellow onion.
  • 2 - lbs. Ground Beef. (Alt-grd-turkey).
  • 1 - 15 oz. can tomato sauce.
  • 1/2 - tsp. Chili powder.
  • 1/2 - tsp. salt.
  • 1/2 - tsp. pepper.
  • 2 - 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese.

Preparation

Step 1

Brown beef and onion on skillet.
Add tomato sauce, chili powder, salt and pepper.

Heat thoroughly.

Mix milk with chicken soup and simmer in separate pan.

Line casserole dish (oblong) with half corn tortillas on bottom and sides of dish.

Pour meat mixture into casserole dish.
Cover entire meat mixture with corn tortillas. Pour in mixed soup and milk over tortillas. Sprinkle dish with shredded cheddar cheese.

Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes until cheese is 80 percent melted.
