Ingredients
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups flour
- 1/3 cup cocoa
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1-12 ounce bag semi-sweet chocolate chips or peanut butter chips
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large mixer bowl, beat butter, sugar and brown sugar until well blended. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Stir together flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; gradually add to butter mixture, beating until well blended. Stir in chips. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until set. Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack.
