Lobster Dip

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp chopped green onions
  • 2 tbsp chopped green pepper
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1-10oz can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg
  • 2-5-1/2 oz cans lobster
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Saute onion and pepper in butter for 5 minutes. Mix soup, cream, cornstarch, egg yolks and nutmeg in separate saucepan. Heat slowly until it starts to thicken. Add onion and green pepper. Continue cooking until thick. Add cheese and lobster chunks stirring well until cheese melts. Serve warm in chafing dish.
