Italian Pot Roast Spaghetti

Ingredients
- 3 lbs pot roast
- 2 tbs vegetable oil
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 cup chopped tomatoes
- 1 - 6 oz tomato paste
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 2 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp salt

Step 1
Trim excess fat from roast. Brown roast in oil in heavy skillet or Dutch oven. Combine tomato sauce, tomatoes and tomato paste. Mix with onion, garlic and seasonings. Pour over meat. Simmer covered for 2 1/2 to 3 hours, until meat is tender. Serve meat and sauce over hot cooked spaghetti.
