Ingredients

  • 1 lb. spareribs, cut to 3" pieces
  • 2 tbsp curry powder
  • 1/2 tsp chinese 5 spice powder
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp chinese cooking wine
  • 2 tbsp tapioca starch
  • 1 egg beaten

Preparation

Step 1

1. Marinate spareribs with curry powder, minced garlic, light soy sauce, chinese 5 spice powder, sugar, salt and chinese cooking wine.

2. Dip each spare ribs in beaten egg and roll it in tapioca starch,

3. Heat 4 cup of peanut oil in a hot wok. Deep fry spareribs at mediumheat for aboout 10 minutes.

4. Display in a platter garnished with lettuce leaves
