Step 1
"I soaked the sliced okra in ice water with 2 tsp. salt for 30 min. Dumped it in a colander and rinsed it a little bit, then tossed it in a paper bag with seasoned cornmeal and shook it up. Fried it in HOT oil for just a few minutes."
