Banana Cream Pie

Ingredients

  • 9" Baked Pie Crust
  • 2/3 Cup Sugar
  • 1/4 Cup Cornstarch
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 3 Cups Milk
  • 4 Egg Yolks
  • 2 Tbsp Butter
  • 1 Tsp Banana Extract
  • Bananas
  • Whipped Cream

Preparation

Step 1

Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt in saucepan. Stir in milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture thickens and boils. Boil and stir 1 minute. Stir in half of mixture into egg yolks. Pour back into pan and boil and stir 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in butter and extract. Let cool. Layer banana slices over bottom and sides of pie crust. Pour filling over top. Let cool completely. Top with whipped cream.
