Ingredients
- Glaze:
- 1 1/2C.1 1/2 C. hot water
- 1Tbsp.1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2tsp.1/2 tsp. salt
- 1Tbsp.1 Tbsp. SAF instant yeast
- 3 1/2-4cups3 1/2-4 cups bread flour
- 2-3Tbsp.2-3 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 1/4tsp.1/4 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/4tsp.1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4tsp.1/4 tsp. dill weed
- 1/8tsp.1/8 tsp. Italian seasoning
- parmesan cheese (can)
Preparation
Step 1
Combine water, sugar, salt yeast and enough flour to make a soft dough. Knead for 3-4 minutes. Place in a greased bowl and cover. Let rise in a warm spot for 30 minutes or till doubled in size. On a greased countertop, break off pieces of dough and roll into thin ropes. Twist the rope around skewers and place on a greased cookie sheet. Repeat till all dough is used. Let rise 30 minutes, till doubled in size. Bake twists in a 375°F oven for 12-15 minutes. Remove from oven and brush with butter glaze.
