Ingredients
- Batter:
- 1/4 Cup Butter
- 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
- 1 Can Sliced Pineapple (Drained)
- 7 Maraschino Cherries
- 6 Pecan Halves
- 1-1/4 Cups Flour
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1-1/2 Tsps Baking Powder
- 1/2 Tsp Salt
- 3/4 Cup Milk
- 1/3 Cup Shortening
- 1 Egg
- 1 Tsp Vanilla
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 350 F. Melt butter in round layer pan. Sprinkle Brown Sugar over. Arrange pineapple, cherries and pecans . Mix all batter ingredients together until smooth. Pour over top of pineapple arrangement. Bake for 45 minutes. Invert onto plate and remove cake pan after a few minutes.
