Lexington-Style Barbecue Sauce

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 cups cider vinegar
• 1/2 cup ketchup
• 1 t salt
• 1/2 t ground red pepper
• 1/8 t red pepper flakes
• 1 T granulated sugar
• 1/2 cup water

Combine all ingredients in saucepan Bring to a boil, then simmer & stir until sugar is dissolved.
