  • Ingredients:
  • 1 pound of thick ringed calamari
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 tablespoon garlic minced
  • 1 pinch of thyme
  • 1 pinch of black pepper
  • 1 handful of sliced pepperoncini sliced
  • 8 crumbled pieces of ritz crackers
  • fish boulion to taste
  • Garnish:
  • parsley
  • lemon wedges

Preparation

Step 1

Thaw and dry the calamari and set to the side.
Melt butter and add all ingredients to a simmer except Calamari.
Using a little butter fry calamari for approximately 2-3 mins. Don't over fry or the calamari will bet hard and chewy.
Once Calamari has been cooked, add butter pepperoncini sauce and simmer on low for 2 mins then serve hot with garnishes.
