Plantation Stuffed Peppers

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 tsp chili powder
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 can tomato soup
- lb. Process cheese, shredded
- 1 cup cooked converted rice
- 8 medium green peppers

Step 1
Cook ground beef, onion & garlic. Add chili powder, salt & pepper and tomato soup. Simmer, covered. Add cheese and rice. Heat until cheese melts.
Cut peppers in half. Remove membranes and seeds. Cook in boiling water until tender. Drain and cool. Place on baking sheet and spoon rice mixture into peppers. Cover with foil and bake at 400 for 45 minutes or until hot trough.
