OREO BALLS (Dirt Balls)

  • 1 (16.6-ounce) bag Oreo Cookies
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 12 ounces Ghirardelli dark chocolate chips
  • 12 ounces Ghirardelli milk chocolate chips

Preparation

Step 1

Cover a large cookie sheet with foil.

Crush all of the Oreos in a plastic bag or in a food processor until fine.

Mix thoroughly with cream cheese in a large bowl. Roll dough into 1-inch balls.

Melt both bags of chocolate chips in a double boiler. Dip the balls in the melted chocolate and put them on the cookie sheet to harden. Refrigerate.
