Ingredients
- 1 lb Pork Tenderloin
- 1/2 Onion, chopped
- 2 Garlic Cloves, chopped
- Selection of fresh herbs (Rosemary, Thyme, etc.), chopped
- 1/4 Cup White Wine
- 3-4 Tbsp Oil
- Salt and Pepper to Taste
Preparation
Step 1
Add oil, garlic and onions to a deep sauté pan turn on medium heat.
Salt and pepper the tenderloin, turn heat to high and braise pork until all sides are browned. It's okay if the onions and garlic brown, it adds to the flavor. Add wine and herbs, adjust to low heat and cover. Check the pork periodically to make sure there is enough liquid in the pan, add a small amount of water to deglaze the pan as needed. Cook for 20 minutes covered. Remove pork and slice, if it appears undercooked return sliced pork back into the pan and cook on low until desired wellness. Serve with drippings over top.
