Ingredients

  • 14 Ounces of Herb Seasoned Stuffing
  • 1 Large Onion, Diced
  • 4 Stalks of Celery, Finely Chopped
  • 1 Pound Hot Jimmy Dean Sausage, Browned
  • 4 Ounces Mushrooms, Coarsely Chopped
  • 2 Cups of Chicken Stock
  • 1 Tsp of Crushed Sage
  • 1/4 Tsp Pepper

Step 1

Brown sausage in a skillet on medium heat. Remove sausage from the pan and use the drippings to saute mushrooms, celery, and onions. Continue cooking until the celery is beginning to soften. In a large bowl mix stuffing, sage and pepper; add mushrooms, celery, onions and chicken stock. Mix until all ingredients are moist. If necessary add a little more chicken stock. Place in a preheated 350 degree oven. Bake for 30 minutes.
