
Ingredients
- 1 chicken (3 lbs)
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- ½ lb. sliced mushrooms
- 1 teaspoon of cut ginger
- 1 small cucumber sliced (optional)
- salt and pepper
- 1 cup of white wine
- 1 tablespoons of arrowroot
- 4 ounces of sour cream
- 1-2 apples sliced for garnish

Preparation
Step 1
1. Cut the chicken in 8 pieces and take off the skin.
2. Rub the pieces with the ginger and salt and pepper.
3. Melt the butter and brown the chicken 3-4 minutes.
4. Cover the pan and cook the chicken for 20 minutes.
5. Take out the chicken and put in a serving plateau.
6. Add mushrooms, cucumber and ginger in the pan and cook 2-3 minutes.
7. Pour white wine and incorporate arrowroot.
8. Put the chicken back, cover and cook 10 minutes over low heat.
9. Take the cover off and incorporate the sour cream.
10. Arrange the chicken on a plateau and garnish with apples and chives.
