Ingredients
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 1 tbsp. flour
- 1 cup milk or cream
- 3 egg yolks
- I tbsp. white wine (optional)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- l/4 tsp. salt Pinch of pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Melt butter in small saucepan. Blend in flour, cook and stir 2 min. Remove pan from heat, add milk slowly and beat until smooth. Cook, stirring constantly until thickened. Beat yolks and wine together, add to sauce with cheese and seasonings. This sauce can be made while pasta is cooking. Pour over hot, drained pasta.
