Ingredients
- 1 cup Onion, diced
- 1 Tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 cans black beans, drained & rinsed (15 oz each)
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1-2 Tbsp minced chipotles chilies in adobo
- 1 tsp dry mustard
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Sauté onion in oil in a large sauté pan over medium heat until softened, about 3 minutes. Stir in garlic and cook 1 minute.
Deglaze with vinegar and bring to a boil. Add remaining ingredients and simmer 10 minutes.
