Ingredients
- 1 TB butter
- 2/3 c onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 6 oz chili sauce
- 1 c ketchup
- 1 1/2 TB Worcestershire sauce
- 1/3 c dark brown sugar
- 2 TBs cider vinegar
- 2 TBs chili powder
- 1 1/2 TB cumin
- 1 1/2 TB prepared spicy brown mustard
- 1/2 TB salt
- hot dogs
- additional raw onions, chopped
- additional spicy brown mustard

Step 1
Onion Sauce:
Saute onion and garlic in butter until soft and translucent. Add the rest of the ingredients and cook over medium heat for 15-20 minutes until mixture begins to boil; stirring frequently (do not bring to full boil).
Reduce heat and continue to stir often.
Hot Dogs:
Pan fry hot dogs in peanut oil. Place dogs in buns and apply a stripe of spicy brown mustard. Sprinkle on some chopped onions and then sauce.
