Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. ground cloves
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 stick (1/2 cup) butter, melted
  • Powdered Sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix dry ingredients together. Blend in eggs and buttermilk. Hand stir in the melted butter. Pour batter into a greased bundt pan. Bake for 55 to 60 minutes. Dust with powdered sugar when cake has cooled.

Note: Cake is very touchy while being baked – drops easily.
