Cinnamon Sugar Tortilla Chips (Baked)

By

I've been wanting to try making these for a while and they turned out even better than I expected!! They taste sort of like Taco Bell's Churros and are very easy to make.

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°
1. Layout tortillas. (I put them on wax paper to catch the sugar.)
2. Brush each tortilla with melted butter, or butter softened to a mushy consistency.
3. Sprinkle each tortilla with sugar, to taste.
4. Sprinkle each tortilla with cinnamon, to taste.
5. Transfer tortillas to cutting board and slice each tortilla into 8 pieces, like a pizza.
6. Transfer slices to baking sheet. One 18" baking sheet holds all 24 slices of 3 medium-size tortillas.
7. Bake at 350° for 10-15 minutes. Browner chips still taste good.
8. Store leftover chips in ziploc bag or on plate covered in plastic. They are actually under plastic in my photo shown.
*Sugar and cinnamon measurements are estimates that can be adjusted to your liking.
1 serving = 6 Chips
